A man and a woman are dead following a domestic dispute and an armed standoff that ended early Tuesday morning in Blaine.
Local police were called to the 600 block of 120th Ave. NE at 8:36 p.m. and heard two gunshots inside a home.
Officer from more than half-a-dozen agencies were called to the scene, including members of the Anoka County sheriff’s office SWAT team, and set up a perimeter around the house.
Two juveniles were located and taken to safety by officers.
Efforts to communicate with people inside the building were unsuccessful.
When police made their way inside the home they found the two people dead.
Officials with the Anoka County sheriff’s office say there are no suspects and the public is not in danger.
