Police are searching for a suspect who attempted to kidnap someone near the University of Minnesota campus on Tuesday morning.
Public safety officials say a male suspect tried to pull an individual into the back seat of a car at 10:31 a.m. at 6th Street Southeast and 10th Avenue Southeast.
The suspect has "gray facial hair, a gray hoodie, and blue pants with a stripe" and fled the scene in a northbound direction.
Minneapolis police are investigating.
