Timberwolves rookie Josh Okogie scored 13 points for the World Team in Friday's Rising Stars Challenge at the NBA's All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, NC.

It wasn't enough to win the game, though, as Team USA wound up in the razzle-dazzle-filled 161-144 triumph.

Okogie, born in Nigeria and the 20th overall selection out of Georgia Tech in last spring's NBA Draft, also had four assists and four rebounds, turning one of his offensive boards into a rim-rattling dunk that went viral.

This was the fifth Rising Stars Challeng in its current format.  The World leads in the series 3-2.

The teams combined for 37 3-pointers, 55 dunks and shot a combined 12 free throws.

Okogie's Timberwolves teammate Karl-Anthony Towns was on the sidelines showing his support by wearing a World jersey. Towns on Sunday plays in the All-Star Game.

Okogie and Towns are the only Timberwolves taking part in the weekend of dunks, alley-oop lobs, no-look passes, and long-range bombs.
