The snow that's falling on Tuesday is just the beginning.
A winter weather advisory now in effect brings with it a forecast of up to four inches of snow, with the afternoon commute right in the thick of things.
The evening commute will be slow. Remember slow down and leave extra space if you're driving on snowy/icy roads. #mnwx #wiwx pic.twitter.com/9irSIpXusY

February 5, 2019 The snow should stop before Wednesday morning, but that's just part one of this week's winter weather.
Another snow system is inching toward us and is expected to dump up to eight inches of more snow before it ends on Thursday.
And that's not all, temperatures will stay well below freezing, which will prevent any of the snow from melting anytime soon.
