The Second Lady of the United States, Karen Pence, is defending her husband's decision earlier this week not to wear a mask during his visit to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
"It was actually after he left Mayo Clinic that he found out they had a policy of asking everyone to wear a mask. So, someone who's worked on this whole task force for over two months is not someone who would do anything to offend anyone, or hurt anyone, or scare anyone."
Karen Pence told Fox News masks prevent anyone who may have COVID-19 from spreading it, and Vice President Pence doesn't have it. The Mayo Clinic says it did indeed share the masking policy with the Vice President's office before his arrival on Tuesday.
