Lakeville swimming sensation Regan Smith is coming back from South Korea with more than one world record.

On Sunday, the 17-year-old was part of the 400-meter relay team that won gold at the world swimming championships.

Smith was the lead-off swimmer for the Americans, and set a world mark for 100 meters in the backstroke leg at 55.57 seconds.

With that fast start, team USA also captured the relay world record with a time of  3:50.40 on their way to the world title.

Last week Smith set the world record in the 200-meter backstroke, and won her first world championship in the event the following day.

She's a rising senior at Lakeville North High School, and the youngest member of the US swimming team.
