A Richfield man faces federal charges for allegedly starting a fire inside the Target headquarters in Downtown Minneapolis last month during a night of violence.
24-year old Shador Tommie Cortez Jackson has been charged with arson by Minnesota's US Attorney. Jackson is apparently captured on surveillance video breaking a glass door of the Target headquarters on the Nicollet Mall, entering the building, and then starting a fire in the mailroom. It happened on the night of August 26th, when violence erupted after rumors circulated that a murder suspect who'd killed himself was shot by police. Jackson was arrested by Richfield Police that same night. The suspect was found to have stolen merchandise in his possession.
