There shouldn't be much trouble finding something to do this weekend in the Twin Cities, but getting there might take some time. Whether you're headed to Grand Old Day in St. Paul, the Edina Art Fair, or open Streets in Minneapolis make sure to review MnDOT's map of weekend road projects.
The biggest impact will be felt during closures of 35W in both directions betweeen crosstown and downtown Minneapolis while northbound lanes will be closed between Burnsville and Bloomington.
Interstate 94 is not exempt from the weekend roadwork. Both directions in Woodbury will be closed at the 494/694 interchange, causing westbound drivers to detour onto 694 over to 35E. Eastbound drivers will have a short detour using Tamarack Road.
