In similar report issued by a committee of students and faculty just last week, it was also recommended that the buildings names be changed due to segregationist policies by those former administrators.
Kaler says he'd like time for public comment, as well as input from the families of those former administrators. He'll present his report to the Board of Regents next week, with a decision later this year.
Kaler is leaving the University in July, when Joan Gabel will become president.
