A: Yes. The show is actually called "Inspired Women of Rock" and includes others performing songs by the artists who inspired Janis Joplin....Nina Simone, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin. And the opener, Mae Simpson and her band won the City Pages Reader's Choice award for Best New Band of 2019. She too is one of those vocal powerhouses making quite a name for herself these days.
