One Cool Thing: Get a dose of festive cheer at the Grand Meander fest in St. Paul
The One Cool Thing for today takes us to bustling and charming Grand Avenue in St. Paul, where businesses along a 20-block stretch will be showing off their holiday finest at the annual “Grand Meander.” It's a tradition on the first Saturday in December, drawing visitors from around the Twin Cities looking for sales on holiday gifts, trying new restaurants, and getting into the spirit with Santa, carolers, a petting zoo, art fair and even a soup contest. The Grand Meander is from 10am-5pm this Saturday, Dec. 7. If you don't feel like walking, hop on the free trolley that will be running all day.
