University of Minnesota head football coach P.J Fleck is getting in on the players latest celebration dance.
"Bring the Boom" is a TikTok video that's gone viral of an Italian family singing together, dancing a simple step to the beat of the boom.
After the gophers beat Maryland last Saturday head coach P.J. Fleck joined the fun.
"It's not a hard dance and that's why I did it," joked Fleck.
Fleck told reporters that the players have different moves they do on big plays and they started this new dance, which he had heard nothing about but knew he had to learn.
"his is like serious stuff with them," Fleck says. "Serious stuff, this boom thing. And the dance and what they were gonna do, and getting takeaways, and they took that very seriously. I didn't do that all week with them until I did it."
The Gophers are at Illinois Saturday and Fleck and the Gophers hope to again bring the boom like they did against Maryland and gain bowl eligibility.
