Tonight's Minnesota Wild game against the Carolina Hurricanes that was scheduled to take place at the Xcel Energy Center has been postponed. The NHL made the announcement on Twitter.

The NHL had already postponed three Calgary Flames games because of a COVID outbreak within their team. Carolina played against the Flames on Thursday night and later announced that two of their players and one staff member had tested positive for the virus.

According to Russo, the Hurricanes had more positive tests today, leaving them shorthanded for tonight's game and no ability to call anyone up from the minors.

The Wild are scheduled to play on Thursday night against the Buffalo Sabers in St. Paul.
