The Minnesota Twins have announced the return of the beloved TwinsFest, with next year's offseason celebration set to take place Jan. 27-28. This will be the first TwinsFest since 2020.
This year's celebration will feature several weekend events, including TwinsFest Live! from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 at The Fillmore Minneapolis; Signature Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 at Target Field; and the Futures Clinic for kids ages 6-12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. for kids ages 13-18 at Urban Ventures, on Saturday, Jan. 28.
Fans will get the chance to experience an “enhanced lineup of fun” to be had with “current and former Twins players, coaches, broadcasters, and front office personnel.”
Tickets for the events will go on sale next Thursday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. on the team's website. Those with season tickets will be able to get early access.
The proceeds collected from the event will be given to the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, which looks to improve the lives and strengthen communities in Minnesota.
Twins President & CEO Dave St. Peter shared in a press release that the organization is excited to bring the event back after COVID put it on pause.
“We cannot wait to rekindle one of our region’s greatest and most beloved winter traditions and to celebrate Twins Baseball with our fans!” St. Peter said.
