
Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been announced as a finalist for the NFL's Most Valuable Player Award.
Jefferson is the only position player other than quarterback to be a nominee for the top award. Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts from Philadelphia, Buffalo's Josh Allen, Cincinnati's Joe Burrow and Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes are the other contenders.
Jefferson lead the league in two offensive categories: receptions (128) and receiving yards (1,809). He finished tied for 11th in touchdowns with 8 trips to the end zone.
The winner will be announced the night of February 9th, the Thursday before Super Bowl Sunday on the NFL Honors show.
