The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the verge of getting one of their stars back for Wednesday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

While the Timberwolves have officially listed Towns as questionable, two ESPN insiders have said he plans to play in tonight's game. In the article, Towns says he's ready to finally get back with his team.

"I'm super excited to get back out on the court and help my team because these next nine games are super important."

The Timberwolves are currently the 9th seed in the NBA's Western Conference, getting them into the play-in game for the playoffs. With nine games to go, the team is just two games out of the fifth seed in the west.

Towns has been out for four months with a strained calf. He re-injured the calf and had to start his rehab all over again six weeks into the initial injury.
