Coming off a brutal loss in OT against Boston, in a matchup of the two top teams in each conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves (26-11, first in the Western Conference) are back in action Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers (10-27, 14th in the Western Conference).
This is a little easier road for the Wolves than Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the Celtics. Portland is coming off the fifth worst loss in NBA history. They lost by 62 points on Thursday to Oklahoma City.
The Wolves got a day off, and are hoping center Rudy Gobert (sore hip) is healthy enough to play Friday. Game time is 7 p.m. in Minneapolis.
