Shooting marks St. Paul's 32nd homicide of the year

A man who was shot late Wednesday night while driving in St. Paul died early Thursday morning, marking the city's 32nd homicide of the year.

Saint Paul Police say the man called for help after he had been shot in the chest while driving his car near the intersection of University and Snelling Avenues at around 10 p.m. Wednesday.


Police found the man, who was able to call for help, and rendered aid. Saint Paul Fire Medics rushed him to Regions Hospital where he died.

No arrests have been made in the case. Police believe the man was shot by another individual who was inside another car.
