One man is dead following a Tuesday night house fire in north Minneapolis.
The Minneapolis Fire Department responded to the fire at approximately 10:50 p.m. Tuesday at 1703 26th Avenue N. Firefighters saw smoke coming out of a second story window.
Firefighters entered the residence and pulled one person out of the doorway. They were able to rescue one person from the second-floor bedroom, but another individual was already dead by the time firefighters reached them.
All three individuals in the house are described as adult males. One of the two survivors was taken the hospital for smoke inhalation.
It's the third deadly fire of the year in Minneapolis and the second deadly fire this week in north Minneapolis.
On Sunday, a woman identified as 18-year-old Akiea Deshay Green was found dead inside a recreational vehicle that had ignited behind a business at 1127 West Broadway Ave.
Both fires are under investigation.
