In Bloomington, on Wednesday, police held a press conference giving an update on a sex trafficking ring that involved more than a dozen men who were soliciting sex from both minors and adults.
Police Chief Booker Hodges made the announcement in his usual style, naming 5 of the 14 men who are now facing charges of soliciting a minor.
“Amsterdam has the red light district. We do not have the red light district in Bloomington. We have the orange jumpsuit district,” Hodges said.
Hodges says investigators created a decoy advertisement with photos of an undercover officer, posted on websites that they know are used by those seeking prostitution services from sex workers.
