A 15-year old boy is dead and a man is in custody after a shooting in the parking lot of a mall in Blaine.
Anoka County authorities responded to Northtown Mall around 5:00 p.m. Friday for a report of shots fired in the parking lot.
Officials at the scene found a male with an "apparent gunshot wound," according to the sheriff's office.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Investigators say witnesses saw three males leaving the scene. One of those males has since been detained, and officials are looking for the other two.
The mall was put into lock down during the incident.
