An investigation is underway after a four-year old child had to be pulled out of a Minneapolis pond Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 3:00 p.m. in the 1800 block of Laurel Avenue West in the Bryn Mawr neighborhood, near Bryn Mawr Meadows Park.
Minneapolis Police and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Water Patrol responded on a report of a child being found unresponsive in the water.
After being pulled out, the child was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment, but their condition is unknown.
It's not clear how the child ended up in the pond and so far no charges have been filed.
