Five people were injured Friday night in a shooting in Minneapols' Dinkytown neighborhood.
Minneapolis police responded to the shooting at 11:51 p.m. on the 400 block of 14th Avenue SE.
Police arrived and found five people suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter fled the scene before officers arrived.
Police reported the shooting appeared to take place outside.
The University of Minnesota Department of Public Safety published of safety alert at 12:09 a.m. Saturday telling the public to avoid the area of 14th Ave Se and 4th St Se.
