One of Minnesota's most popular winter destinations suffered extensive damage during Wednesday's blizzard, and now they're looking for volunteers to get it ready for Christmas Eve.
Bentleyville in Duluth, MN is looking trying to line up volunteers to assist them with clean up Thursday, beginning at 9:30am, after high winds and snow damaged the display.
If a Facebook post, they said, "We are asking any and all people that are able to assist Bentleyville, starting at 9:30 am on Thursday. We are in GREAT NEED of help to be able to try and reopen. Damage is heartbreaking," the post said.
Bentleyville is a Christmas light display set up in Bayfront Festival Park along Lake Superior. Normally, you can see cars lined up each night to tour the massively popular display that takes weeks and hundreds of volunteers to set up each year.
Now, they are looking for people to help in an emergency, with just one more night before Christmas.
Duluth saw much of the same weather the Twin Cities did, with several inches of snow and severe winds that caused blowing snow and damage across much of the state.
