
A leadership change has come to Minnetonka-based Cargill.
The company announced Monday that Chief Operating Officer Brian Sikes has been elected President and CEO of the agri-business.
He taked over for Dave MacLennan, who will assume the role of Executive Chair of the Board of Directors.
Sikes becomes the tenth CEO in the company's 157-year history and will assume his new role on Jan. 1.
With earnings totalling more than $165 billion, Cargill is America's largest privately held company.
