The Brooklyn Center police officer who shot Daunte Wright during a traffic stop has been identified by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Officer Kim Potter is a 26-year veteran of the Brooklyn Center Police Department. Potter is on administrative leave.
The Minnesota BCA did not release any more information about the officer per their policy during investigation.
