News Director Lindsey Peterson headed to South Minneapolis coffeehouse staple Five Watts and drank their Iced Kingfield. Peterson says it's the best coffee in town.
Dan Edwards - The Price Is Right Live at Mystic Lake Casino:
It was time to "come on down" at Mystic Lake Casino as The Price Is Right Live took over their showroom! The show was hosted by game show legend Bob Goen and saw classic games such a Plinko, Cliff Hanger and the Big Wheel live in person! While none of the WCCO Radio employees who went came on down, they did witness two ladies overbid in the Showcase Showdown and miss out on trips to Rome, Lake Tahoe and a brand new car!
The Chad Hartman Show - O'Donovan's Pub Downtown Minneapolis:
Two-thirds of "The Chad Hartman Show" held a "show meeting" along with Tom Hauser at O'Donovan's. They decided to pick that place as Downtown Minneapolis bars and restaurants have struggled to regain their business in the past two years.
Paul Hodowanic - Kowalski's pies for "Pi Day":
Reporter Paul Hodowanic was thrilled when he walked into the newsroom on "Pi Day" to find that Vineeta Sawkar brought in pies from Kowalski's! Rumor has it that this Key Lime pie didn't last long after taking the picture.
