The State Fair might be over five months away, but they’re wasting no time filling the Grandstand with musical acts. The Chicks, Duran Duran, Yung Gravy and the Happy Together Tour have already been announced.

Now the Fair is bringing in the red-hot Grammy winner Brandi Carlile.

Carlile played in Minnesota last July at the Xcel Energy Center and is coming off three more Grammy Awards, bringing her total number of Grammy wins to nine. While this isn’t Carlile’s first foray into the Minnesota State Fair, it is sure to be her biggest show now that she’s headlining arenas.

Mostly defined as Americana, Carlile is coming off the huge success of her 2021 album, “In These Silent Days”. Her 2023 is sure to be busy with Carlile performing at her inaugural “Mothership Weekend,” a three-day Mother’s Day celebration festival, and headlining her “Echoes Through the Canyon” weekend at Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre (her home state). She’ll also join P!NK on her “Summer Carnival 2023” stadium tour later this year.

The show at the Fair is Tuesday, August 29 starting at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets go on sale March 22 at 10:00 a.m. with prices from $199 down to $79.
