It's here.

What many consider the busiest travel week of the year.

Thanksgiving isn't until Thursday, but many holiday travelers on Monday are headed to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.

They want to get out of Dodge before the peak travel day.

Officials at MSP say about 37,000 people are expected to go through their security checkpoints the day before Thanksgiving.

That would be the airport's busiest day since before the pandemic.

They're also thinking about those who are picking up and dropping off.

A second cellphone waiting lot, with about 100 spaces, is now open along Post Road.

The TSA is expecting to screen about 30 million passengers nationwide between now and the Monday after Thanksgiving.

That’s nine percent higher than last year.
