Pardoned January 6th insurrectionist Jake Lang was released from the Ramsey County Jail following his arrest for destroying an ice sculpture at the state capitol building on Thursday.

He was released Friday and is due back in court on March 3rd to face charges of felony damage to property.

As a condition of his release, he must not go to the capitol building on Saturday, which is where he had planned a rally.

The sculpture put up earlier Thursday by a veteran's group was 12 letters that spelled out "PROSECUTE ICE."

In a video posted on social media, Lang... whose real first name is Edward... was seen knocking down enough letters to make it look like the sculpture read "PRO-ICE."

Damage to the sculpture is estimated at about $6000.

He also promoted his planned Saturday rally at the capitol, but it appears that might not happen.

As a condition of his release, Lang must stay at least three blocks away from the capitol.

He originally announced plans for a rally inside the building, but he does not have a permit for the event.

Last month, Lang staged an anti-Islam rally in Minneapolis that drew far more opponents than supporters.

A conviction of the single felony count bring a prison sentence of up to five years, a $10,000 fine, or both.
