A Minnesota man facing 13 felony counts related to manufacturing and distributing child porn has been arrested.
The United States Marshals Service took 36-year-old William Amick III into custody on Tuesday in Milan, Michigan according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Investigators with the Minnesota BCA, Marshals and Fillmore County, MN Sheriff's Office say the incidents involved multiple victims between the ages of newborn and seven years old.
As part of their investigation, the BCA said Amick used a false female identity when interacting with other men online to create child sexual abuse material involving the men's children.
Authorities had not seen or heard from Amick since May 2023. Amick lived in Mabel and Rushford, MN for approximately two years until he disappeared.
He is being held in the Washtenaw Co. (Mich.) Jail as he awaits extradition to Minnesota.
