A Rochester man who had been granted a conditional release on a 2021 murder charge is now charged with murder in the shooting of a man last Friday night outside U.S. Bank Stadium in Downtown Minneapolis.
Investigators say 26-year-old Jeremy Ellis of Plymouth had been shot several times when he was found in a car. Police arrested 28-year-old Idris Haji-Mohammed Saturday, who told them it was a drug deal gone wrong.
According to the criminal complaint, Haji-Mohammed is also charged in the 2021 murder of Abdi Abdi in Moorhead, but had been granted conditional release with an ankle bracelet monitor and $1.7M bond by a Clay County judge.
