The NHL’s second-all-time winnings goalie, Marc-Andre Fleury, has signed a one-year contract extension to stay with the Minnesota Wild for his 21st season, the team announced.

Fleury, who passed Patrick Roy for second all-time on the goalie wins list this season, boasted a 17-14 record for the Wild this season.

He also had two shutouts, a 2.98 GAA, and a .895 save percentage, which were low compared to his all-time statistics.

The Wild missed the playoffs for the second time since the 2012-13 season.

As for Fleury, the 39-year-old three-time Stanley Cup winner will turn 40 at the beginning of next season and bring age to a roster that is expected to be young.

In what could be Fleury’s last contract, he will make $2.5 million.
