A man who authorities say found naked and non-violent inside the Minnesota State Capitol on Friday night is in custody, and lawmakers want answers

It was one of three times the 36-year-old man was spotted trespassing on the Capitol grounds over the weekend.

He's now in the Ramsey County jail and awaiting extradition to Wisconsin, which is where he lives and has an outstanding warrant for violating parole.

Capitol security officials say when the man was found in the senate chambers he was muttering about being governor.

"Anyone who trespasses in any building, let alone the state Capitol, should be arrested and prosecuted for breaking the law," said House Speaker Lisa Demuth. "I look forward to learning why this did not take place in this highly disturbing incident."

The man was sent to Regions Hospital for mental health evaluation and was released twice because officials felt he was not a danger to himself or anyone else.

The arrest came after the man was found on the capitol grounds twice on Saturday.
