Vintage shoppers have a new option downtown Minneapolis this summer.
Gabby Paulouse is setting up during the first week of the new downtown Vintage Emporium in the IDS center.
"The entire store is filled up with lovely vintage goods," she says.
It's in the same spot as where the holiday shopping market was, with a number of different vendors coming in to set-up shop.
Paulouse says there are a number of items that seem to be popular.
"It kind of depends on the day," she says. "I've seen a lot of like pretty slip dresses, a lot of people are loving Doc Martens right now."
It's part of the Downtown Council's effort to revitalize the area, and draw in shoppers downtown. Paulouse says it helps that vintage is all the rage these days.
"It's so popular. Everybody, like any type of person, is looking for some nice piece of vintage clothing," Paulouse explains.
The store is open Monday through Saturday from now until September. The shop is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday. It is closed on Sundays and July 4.
