If you’re thinking about planning a trip this winter to stay in a cozy cabin, you don’t have to drive up north, as the Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is kicking off its celebration of winter with its rooftop Nordic Village experience.
Hotel General Manager Florian Riedel says their winter marketplace has a European flair that will transport guests out of Minneapolis.
Riedel says while guests might not sleep in the cabins in the Nordic Village, they will get the full cabin experience, with meal service, a sauna, shopping, and more!
“On the weekends in November and December, we will have some of these cabins transformed into a market for holiday shopping,” Riedel said.
And then, at night, the cabins are transformed back into dining rooms.
Riedel says he intends to up the ante every year going forward.
“Just wait till you see what we do next year. This is our second year, and this is only going to grow and get better and better as we go,” Riedel said.
The village is open now through March.
