There are no arrests in the shooting death of a woman on St. Paul's west side.
The woman was found lying in the pavement about 9:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of W. Stevens St. and Stryker Avenue S.
A second woman was found with gunshot wound to her arm and is expected to survive.
"This was a very chaotic scene, when officers arrived there were multiple people in the street," said St. Paul police sergeant Mike Ernster.
"Witnesses were transported to our headquarters to be interviews by our homicide investigators," he said.
The victim's name is not released, and it's not known what led to the shooting.
This is the 26th reported homicide in Saint Paul in 2020.
