
Scary moments at Northtown Mall in Blaine on Sunday afternoon. Several departments responded to a report of shots fired there around 3:30 p.m.
After reviewing surveillance video, police determined that the gunfire erupted outside one of the stores after a group of people got into some sort of altercation.
One person, who authorities say was in possession of a gun, was arrested.
That one suspect remains in the Anoka County jail after being booked on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm.
The mall was cleared shortly after 5:00 p.m. by officers from the Minnesota State Patrol and several nearby departments.
The investigation is ongoing.
