On Saturday, police arrived at the residence where they believed Ragin and her mother, Lisa Wade, had been living. While there, they found Wade dead in the home.

The Rice County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether or not Wade, 39, was involved in the disappearance of Ragin, and authorities are asking anyone who has seen either of them in the last two weeks to contact the Northfield Police Department at 507-645-4477.

Northfield police do not know where or who Ragin could be with, but they do believe there is a chance she is in danger.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting local authorities in the investigation as well.
