Investigators say an SUV crossed over the center line and hit a semi truck head-on in a fatal crash in Minnetrista Friday. Two people are believed to have been killed. Their identities have not been released.
It happened near the intersection of Highway 7 and Wildwood Avenue shortly before 1:00 p.m. forcing the closure of Highway 7 all afternoon.
More information was expected from the State Patrol is expected late Friday afternoon.
A light coating of snow early Friday along with temperatures near zero created some slick road conditions, but so far no cause has been determined.
