Trial has been set to begin May 5 for a protester who was arrested and charged during a demonstration at the University of Minnesota attended her pre-trial hearing on Friday in downtown Minneapolis.
More than two-dozen supporters attended the Friday morning hearing at the Hennepin County Government Center.
Harbison faces fourth-degree assault charges.
Documents show that Harbison, who was 23-years old at the time, is accused of spitting at a police officer while being arrested.
The group that attended the hearing have been demanding that the charges be dropped against Harbison.
