Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting overnight that led to a car crash near Loring Park.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Lyndale and Vineland near the Walker Art Center just after 1 this morning where they found two vehicles involved in an accident. The driver of one, a male in his 20s was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and later died. Two people in the second vehicle say they were waiting at a traffic light when they were hit. They were uninjured.
Police say they found evidence of gunfire nearby and have reports of a car traveling at a high rate of speed from the area, but no suspects have been identified or arrested.
