A seven-year old girl is now at home recovering from multiple dog bites she received after getting off a school bus in St. Paul's Frogtown neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
She was taken to Children's Hospital in St. Paul with serious bite wounds to her head and leg.
"This is a terrible incident that, I can't imagine what she went through, and what her mom went through in this situation," says Sergeant Mike Ernster with the St. Paul Police Department. "So we want to locate these dogs and who owns them. And try to hold them responsible."
Witnesses say the girl got off the school bus and was walking home when five to seven dogs attacked her.
Sergeant Ernster is asking anyone with knowledge of this incident to call the St. Paul Police Department.
