St. Paul Public Schools has announced that they’ve reached a tentative agreement with the teacher’s union just before the deadline and have averted a strike.
The message from SPPS says “school will resume tomorrow.”
In a post on social media, SPPS says, “We’re happy to share with you that Saint Paul Public Schools has reached a tentative contract agreement with the Saint Paul Federation of Educators Union. This means the union has called off its strike.”
The news was not as good in Minneapolis, where teachers announced that teachers would walk off the job Tuesday.
