A St. Paul teenager is charged with shooting and killing her 17-year old boyfriend in Chanhassen last week.
Investigators say 18-year old Vanessa Sanchez Lopez was drunk when she shot and killed Manel Jurado in the head as they sat in a parked car. Witnesses say the two had been arguing.
Jurado's friends drove to Fairview Southdale hospital following the shooting, but he was dead by the time they arrived.
According to the criminal complaint, Sanchez Lopez told police she didn't know the gun was loaded.
