Officials at Minneapolis-based US Bank say they believe the one person killed in a weekend plane crash in Brooklyn Park was one of the institution's top administrators

The plane went down Saturday afternoon, and US Bank says they believe Terry Dolan was the only person on board the craft.

"There's been a number of people, family, friends loved ones, who've experienced significant loss, and they are our priority and how we continue to process this scene, that is important to us and we are all working very diligently to support them as this is ongoing," said Brooklyn Park fire chief Shawn Conway.

Dolan has been the institution's vice-chair and chief administrative officer since 2023, according to US Bank's website.

The plane, a single-engine SOCATA TBM7, was registered to Dolan, according to US Bank officials.

Officials are waiting for the medical examiner to make a positive identification, but they are also saying "thoughts and prayers" are with Dolan's family members.

"As the investigation proceeds, all of the aspects that may have affected the operations, such as the weather, such as the background experience of the pilot, the status of the aircraft, maintenance of the aircraft, all of those will be taken into account," said National Transportation Safety Board accident investigator Tim Sorenson

The plane crashed into a house, located on the west side of the Mississippi River near Coon Rapids Dam Park.

The house was destroyed by fire, and no one on the ground was hurt in the crash.

The flight originated out of Naples, Florida and stopped in Des Moines before heading to Anoka County-Blaine Airport.
