Hurricane Ian may force the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play at the home of the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night.

The marquee match-up featuring Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady on Sunday Night Football remains up in the air as the Tampa Bay-area braces for the storm, which as of Tuesday morning was at Category 3 strength.

Reports suggest the NFL may want to move the game to a neutral site. The Vikings are in London playing the New Orleans Saints this weekend, leaving U.S. Bank Stadium as a top landing spot.

ESPN NFL reporter, Jeff Darlington, wrote on Monday evening that the plans remain fluid due to the unknown path of Hurricane Ian.

U.S. Bank Stadium will serve as the staging spot for the Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday.
