Minnesota Governor Tim Walz with some high profile media appearances Monday on behalf of the Harris-Walz campaign.

Walz was on friendly ground, with ABC's "The View" Monday morning. Walz will also be on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart Monday night.

But he was featured on the latest "Smartless" podcast hosted by actors Jason Bateman, Will Arnet and Sean Hayes as well, and it was mostly lighthearted fare.

"It seems like you go 24 hours a day just going for this and then this, you have to do all the time that you're not getting enough sleep," said Hayes. "That's what I'm worried about. When do the naps happen?"

"Well, you know, the good thing is, old men need less sleep or whatever, I guess," answered Walz. "Look, I do not sleep that much. I've been using this saying, you know, it's kind of my catch thing, and I said, 'we'll sleep when we're dead.' And I had a woman come up to me and goes, 'you're taking this too literally, you look like hell, man.'"

The Trump campaign is also making some non-traditional appearances lately, most recently with former President Trump working a McDonald's drive-thru as candidates try to reach voters in some out-of-the-way places.

On the podcast, Walz discussed his recent trip to New York City for his debate with Republican challenger, Ohio Senator JD Vance, and going for a jog in Central Park.

"I like the idea of you running in central park looking around and really, because you haven't been there a lot taking it in twirling around, not unlike Mary Tyler Moore did in Minneapolis," joked Hayes.

"And that is surprisingly close to how it was," agreed Walz which was followed by a quick sung rendition of "I think we'll make it after all."

On his appearance on "The View", Walz was took part in the "Speed Round," where Sarah Haynes asked him what advice he'd give to Vance.

"Just go in and order the chocolate donut and don't add anything else," said Walz.

He also was asked one nice nice thing he could say about Donald Trump to which Walz answered, "he will not be president again."

The View hosts also gave Walz a new plaid jacket, complete with the show's logo which he said he would only wear if they won the election.
