A 43-year-old Winona woman was arrested Thursday morning in connection to the 2011 death of an infant known as "Baby Angel."
The Winona County Sheriff's Office said the woman was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree manslaughter and that her arraignment was set for 11 a.m. in Winona County District Court.
A press conference detailing what led to the arrest is planned for 12:30 p.m.
Baby Angel was found in the Mississippi River on September 5, 2011.
