A street racer hit a bystander in Minneapolis over the weekend. The incident was recorded by bystanders on a nearby building and posted to Reddit on June 6 depicting the incident.
The video shows a Dodge Charger doing donuts in the middle of a blocked-off intersection while bystanders surround it. The intersection is not recognizable in the video, but the Minneapolis skyline is seen in the background.
After hitting the man, someone set off a firework in the middle of the intersection, and then the Dodge Charger took off, as did those who were not attempting to aid the man.
“Everybody’s running,” said a bystander in the video.

According to the Star Tribune, Minneapolis has had an increase in illegal street racing throughout the past year. This came on the same weekend that three stray bullets hit Vanessa Jensen at an illegal street race killing her.
